Windows 2000 Web Hosting
Windows 2000 hosting is fast and powerful. The servers are configured to allow you to use Server Side Includes (SSI), Microsoft Active Server Pages (ASP), Perl / CGI and other technologies. All servers are WAP enabled, allowing you to host both Web and WAP sites on the one hosting account. Documentation for use of these technologies is available in our support area.
Mailboxes
Each account comes with at least 5 POP3 mailboxes. Each mailbox can be set up with an autoresponder to send an automatic reply on receipt of every message. They can also be set up to forward your email to any other email account. You also get unlimited email aliases, ensuring that any email sent to a 'non-existent' mailbox at your domain is forwarded to your main mailbox.
Statistics
You are given full FTP access to the raw log files for your domain. You can download and analyse your log files using any of the many statistics packages available such as Webtrends. If you prefer a free statistics package, we recommend Analog Statistics which is powerful and easy to use.
Databases
You may use ODBC compliant databases such as Microsoft Access with your web / WAP hosting account. Databases can be accessed using DSN-less connections at no additional cost. If required, we can set up additional system DSN connections to Microsoft Access or Excel at additional cost.
Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) Hosting
You may use your web / WAP hosting account for both web and WAP sites. Everything available for your web site is also available for your WAP site. For example, you may use ASP or Perl to send email from your WAP site, or for connecting to an Access database in just the same way as you would for a web site.
Upgrades and additional features
Customers may upgrade or add other features to their web hosting packages at any time.
