Powerful Linux Servers
All of our Linux servers are high spec machines powered by Intel Xeon 3Ghz or dual AMD 2.6Ghz processors and have a minimum of 1Gb RAM, ensuring that users have all the power they will ever need. All servers use industry standard RedHat Linux and Apache Web Server.
Scripting
All of our Linux servers have Perl 5 (CGI), PHP 5 installed as standard. If your web hosting account allows them, you may also use MySQL databases. You may also use .htaccess files to control password protection, URL rewriting and other features. For security reasons, Telnet and SSH (shell) access is not provided.
Control Panel
All of our Linux servers use Plesk control panel allowing you to set up mailboxes, change passwords, monitor site usage and much more.
Statistics
All of our Linux servers use the well known Webalizer graphical statistics package. You also have access to your raw log files and can download these to use with other statistics packages. More statistical information is available through your control panel.
Other Features
FrontPage extensions can be installed on your account free of charge.
