This page provides information for accessing LiveStats graphical statistics and viewing reports. Please note that we are no longer providing LiveStats with new web hosting accounts, but we will continue to support some LiveStats users.
Accessing LiveStats To access LiveStats, log onto http://livestats.yourdomain.com. You will then be prompted to enter your LiveStats ID and password. These are the account name and password given to you when you purchased your hosting account.
The first time you connect only one ID and password will be accepted. You can add more IDs and passwords to give access to LiveStats to other people in your organisation, or to view your statistics. Be careful that you do not give visitors the permissions to change your LiveStats settings etc.
To add another user, click on 'Virtual Admin' near the top right-hand corner of your screen. Now click on +User Management and then +Add New User. Now enter the new users name and password and, if email reports are required, enter the users email address and check the relevant boxes before clicking 'Submit'.
To enable the new user to view LiveStats online, click +User Permissions which will list each users permissions for each section of LiveStats. Tick the checkboxes for each section that you want the new user to be able to access, then Submit.
If you wish to provide public access to sections of LiveStats, you should check the boxes next to 'Public' in the previous stage. You may also change your LiveStats username and password by adding a new user and removing the old user.
Further Information Extensive help files and documentation for LiveStats are available from within LiveStats by clicking on the relevant help icons. Even more information is available from the MediaHouse / DeepMetrix website at http://www.deepmetrix.com.
Problems If LiveStats stops displaying data online or sends out email reports with no data, and you know for certain this data is incorrect, then LiveStats may need to be reset. Before rushing into resetting LiveStats you should log onto your site and view pages you know will normally appear in LiveStats reports. You should wait 24 hours then check both online and email reports to see if these pages are shown. If not, then use the form below to reset LiveStats.
The LiveStats reset takes up to 24 hours to fully take effect and will result in the loss of data previously held by LiveStats.
Note that by resetting LiveStats, your usernames and passwords will be reset and you may stop recieving your email reports. LiveStats will also become publicly accessible. You will need to connect to LiveStats and add new users as described above
